4 Days Over Due!

Yes, I'm still pregnant!! The baby is definitely in no hurry. My doctor's appointments are more frequent, and I will likely be induced within the next week. Tim & I haven't been doing much of anything, just waiting....

40 Weeks!

Today is September 2nd, my due date! I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and she indicated there is nothing going on... the baby seems to be content and is in no hurry. After my appointment, I decided to pamper myself and get a pedicure. My last day of work was Monday, so now I have more time for sleeping & nesting!

39 Weeks!

Waiting, Waiting, Waiting... I had an ultrasound on Monday, August 24th. Based on the measurements, the baby's estimated weight was 6lbs. 7oz. Currently, I'm still working everyday, and receive may comments from co-workers, "you're still here!" I'm not planning to work on or after my due date, so it will only be a few more days.

Happy 2nd Birthday Grace

We celebrated my niece's birthday on Saturday, August 22nd. The party was at the Marion community park. The weather was great, nice & cool. Grace loved being the center of attention and had lots of goofy smiles (eyes closed & lots of teeth)!

Grace received an art easle doodle station from Grandpa & Grandma Meier and the Bergmans.

Pregnancy Update: 37 Weeks

I've reached the 37th week in my pregnancy. I now have weekly doctor's appointments. After this week's exam, the doctor said that nothing was going on... I have to admit that I was a little disappointed; it seems like we've been waiting so long for the baby to arrive. I've been a little tired, but still feeling pretty good. Thus far, I have successfully avoided the pregnant waddle, but I seem to spill more food on my belly.

My bags are packed, I'm ready to go...

On a different note, the Dad-to-be continues to maintain a meticulous standard of landscaping. He pulled a massive thistle from one of our ornamental grasses. He claims he would have needed a backhoe to remove it if it had grown another couple weeks!
