31 Week Update

31 weeks complete, Only 9 weeks to go!
Tim thought that I should post another belly picture, so here it is... I didn't get all dressed-up for the occasion, but nevertheless, it is a picture. The baby was positioned side-ways, but finally moved last week (30 wks). I'm was very happy to hear the baby had moved. I'm still feeling good and the heat hasn't been too bad. The doctor will perform another ultrasound at our next appointment, July 6th.
We've been slowly working on preparing the baby's room. I have most of the non-baby junk cleared out of the room. Now I've been working on washing the car seat, bumbo, stroller, etc.

Tim, on the other hand, has been working diligently on preparing a dresser. We had an old dresser from Lori's college days. The dresser was in pretty poor shape, so Tim decided to re-finish it. He started by stripping off the paint, soon realizing there were at least 7 different layers of paint to remove.

After two coats of stripper and lots of scraping,
he still had to do some sanding to remove the rest of the paint.

The drawers are almost complete, just a little more hand sanding.

Amazingly... There was a nice red oak underneath!

Currently, Tim is staining it to match the crib, a coffee color. Such a hard worker!

More pictures to come as the project comes to completion.

Greg & Holly's Wedding

Holly & Greg's wedding was on May 30th. The weather was beautiful and it was a wonderful day. I was pretty tired by the end of the day and it took all day Sunday to recover.

The beautiful bride.
