Pregnancy Update: 37 Weeks

I've reached the 37th week in my pregnancy. I now have weekly doctor's appointments. After this week's exam, the doctor said that nothing was going on... I have to admit that I was a little disappointed; it seems like we've been waiting so long for the baby to arrive. I've been a little tired, but still feeling pretty good. Thus far, I have successfully avoided the pregnant waddle, but I seem to spill more food on my belly.

My bags are packed, I'm ready to go...

On a different note, the Dad-to-be continues to maintain a meticulous standard of landscaping. He pulled a massive thistle from one of our ornamental grasses. He claims he would have needed a backhoe to remove it if it had grown another couple weeks!

Hocking Hills Vacation

The Bergman family went on the annual Hocking Hills Vacation during the last weekend of July. Tim & I arrived on Thursday, July 30th and went home Monday, August 3rd. We stayed at a very nice log cabin called Wyrick's Hillside Lodge. It had 5 bedrooms, 3-1/2 bath, hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, and foosball table. Other than a couple golf outings, we didn't leave the cabin, but had a weekend full of family time with lots of eating & drinking.

Tim & I got a blow-up pool approximately 8'x 6'x 2'deep. We placed it on the deck next to the hot tub. The pool was a big hit! Tim decided to rename it the "Cool Pool."

Congratulations Bill & Beth!

On July 24th, Tim & I went to Bill Streib & Beth Everman's wedding. We had the day off work & we had a great time!

Grant Bergman's Baptism

Grant Bergman's Baptism was on Sunday, July 19th. Below is a picture of Grant relaxing before the big day!

Saturday

Besides some finishing touches, the baby's room is ready.

The changing table is complete. I made the basket liners to match the crib bedding.

Saturday, Tim went to BG to help Ted & Denise move. They bought their first house in Fremont. I went to Indy for a party at Mindi & Ryan's House. Thanks for the invite Mindi, I had a great time & I can't wait until I can help you break-in the new hot tub!

32 Weeks!

On July 6th, Tim & I went to the doctor for an ultrasound. Everything looks fine; the baby is in the proper position and the heart was beating strong. The doctor took some measurements of the head and mid-section, which indicated the baby is currently 3 lbs 7 oz. Tim was studying the monitor in hopes to find out if we were having a boy or girl. The doctor scanned the area, but Tim & I couldn’t tell what we were looking at... still a suprise!

Furniture Update

The dresser is complete! Tim finished staining on Wednesday!

On to the next project, building a changing table.

I'm sure the baby appreciates all of Tim's work.
